After being on here for a while and meeting
a lot of folks i care to call friends.
I am still asked more about the real me
that's hard. I truly believe that part of
which I am should be spoken of after
we both get to that point.
If these profiles are written and read
by all of us then for those who are
truly looking for it what ever it may be
for each and everyone of us.
We will read all and take it for what
and how it is written. We see
that it comes from the heart
and written from the soul.
In our perfect world we are
the couple that people want at
their party. We don't stop getting
invited "out" once we become a couple.
We don't lose ourselves...you are
still you, I am still me...and we
are just double the pleasure.
(We are like peas and carrots or
the double mint twins showing my age)
In private you might call me cute
pet names and in public not so
cute names LOL and yes I'll even
say things like "no, I love YOU more"
..but not in front of friends, Brothers
and Sister..lol..we're too cool for that.
= ) Actually its more that we've
been single for a long time
and we know what its like to
be around "those" people...
so we avoid it. We are in
love...people know it, draw hope
from it and because they see
it before we do they respect it.
But I am still there bro
and always will be and in return
you become their sis Your gf still
calls you her "girl"or sis ...
because yes you we still make Beer,pop
and coffee or whatever it is
that our family and friends need.
And yes when we got the truck
we looked at each other smiled
and knew we would have to move
couches but when we looked past
the salesman we both could see
the letters WTF in our eyes LOL,
we still go to and have Hog Roast
tell dirty jokes and act ornery..
You still go out on Thursdays
with the ladies,talk on the phone
at length about haircuts, breakup
and even some of my bros as i grunt as i
walk out of the room the job promotions...and well, shop too much...but together...we are Cool
as hell...we stay awake all hours
talking about "one days and whens"
..you play with my hair, I massage your back.
..I bring you flowers, I cook your
favorite dinner or we try together to cook
something we have seen on t.v.
we spend days just taking off looking
at those out of sight little dump bars
with lots of personality and yes we hunt
for the perfect little shop with special
coffee beans nick nacks dust collectors
(special because we found them.
We live by the rule its not the
destination its the journey.
So when we come back and wake on those
not so special mornings i can make a
pot of coffee so that our day starts
better not because of the coffee but
because of what it reminds us of How we
got that cup. It was the friendship and love
that made that cup not the hot water.
We love turning off the phone and running
away for a day or two..
You know that I am here when the world
screws you over, and know that I'll
protect you against ill harm...we
"get" each other and its much more
difficult to explain that it is
to feel... just something to think
about sounds cool, simple
and easy then why is it so hard LOL
