It's a Wonderful Life, Diggstown, Love Song For Bobby Long (Is it weird to think that's Travolta's best work?)

Any Blues (the older the better), 50's-70's country, Steve Earle (before he cleaned up), Bonnie Raitt, Sonny Landreth, John Hiatt, Clapton, Marshall Chapman, Willie, Tish Hinojosa, Taj Mahal, Lucinda Williams.........you get the drift

Photography, bike riding(Treks or Harleys), hiking, camping, chess, woodworking, collecting African art

Anything by Gibran, Maslow, or Drucker; Presently reading 'EVIL In Modern Thought' by Susan Neiman. Pretty much anything on philosophy, business or interesting people.

Rode fast Jap bikes back in the day when ignitions had points. Sold the bike in Jul '83. Didn't get on another until riding from the Harley dealer's lot in Jul '06. Still can't figure why it took me so long.

Believe there are few things more satisfying than sitting and enjoying something at the end of the day that you made with your hands. Including, of course, a back road ride to a small out of the way town for dinner on the Harley. Not much into watching others do things as I'm more a participant than a spectator. Believe in living 'in' the world, not 'on' the world.

A little intense at times but still able to step back and laugh at myself. Fiercely loyal to family and friends and believe in giving back to the community. Don?t hold onto grudges and don?t keep baggage around. Life's just too short to dwell on past problems. Accept it, learn from it, move on and make better choices next time.

Appears my move will come quicker than anticipated. Signed a contract with the Portuguese Govt to move now. Looks like one 30 day trip a year back to the US. Beautiful countryside, inexpensive to live and good cheap wine. Probably bringing the bike here in Sept. Looks like once again I'm "going home to a place I've never been before".

Believe as Johnny Gimble once said, "There were only two songs ever written. The 'Star's Spangled Banner' and the Blues."

Stumbled upon this site and looking to see if I can find some folks to ride or party with.

I say I don't smoke but I will sneak a few Cuban cigars every month. Yeah, OK, I lied. So sue me.

Long bike rides (motor or pedal power), nice tushies, good cheap wine, tasteful tats on chicks, an afternoon in a really good museum.

meanness, cigarettes; pretty much if something is a turn-off I simply move on

Hey Snake, hope the "flying" is not a circus.  So, if I come visit you when you are back in LA, you're not gonna feed me anything from a drainage ditch are you?  Cheers to you, be safe.
